Web portal for endpoint assessment of clinical studies

The project was awarded the Max Rubner Prize 2020 from the Charité Foundation.

This online tool is intended to enable doctors in so-called endpoint committees (CEC) to evaluate clinical studies more quickly and significantly more effectively than has previously been the case with paper-based procedures. The digital recording of the endpoint data also facilitates the transfer to software for subsequent biometric analysis. On the one hand, this ensures the quality of studies and, on the other hand, clinical studies can be published more quickly in specialist journals. The tool is based on a system that was developed as part of the TIM-HF2 telemedicine study and is now to be technically adapted and further developed so that other medical departments at the Charité also benefit from it.
